It’s something many users do, and it’s quite simple. In order to do that, just follow the steps, and in a couple of minutes, you’ll have the access to tons of apps. How to jailbreak iPhone 6 Plus

There are a couple of things to do before you start with jailbreaking. Backup your iPhone 6 Plus on iCloud or iTunes, and also, disable firewalls and antivirus software.

Windows

To jailbreak iPhone 6 Plus, follow these steps:

  • Download Taig Jailbreak. It’s a jailbreaking tool, and you can get it here.
  • Unzip the file.
  • Connect your iPhone 6 Plus to your computer with the cable that came with your device.
  • You’ll have to disable Passcode. Navigate to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.
  • You’ll have to turn off Find my iPhone. Again, navigate to Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone.
  • Find the Taig file you downloaded on your computer, right click on the file, and choose Run as administrator.
  • As soon as you start the program, it will recognize your iPhone 6 Plus, and it will show the firmware version. It should be 8.1.2.
  • Next, you will see two checkboxes: Cydia (do not make any changes), and the checkbox in Chinese which you should untick.
  • Green button will appear, and in order to start the jailbreak, click on that button.
  • When jailbreaking is done, your iPhone 6 Plus will reboot, and Cydia will be on your Home screen.
  • As the last step, enable Find my iPhone and Passcode.

Mac

In order to jailbreak iPhone 6 Plus, follow these simple steps:

  • Download PP Jailbreak. It’s a jailbreaking tool used for Mac, and you can get it here.
  • Unzip the file.
  • Use the cable you got with your iPhone 6 Plus, and connect the device to your computer.
  • You’ll have to disable Passcode. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.
  • You’ll have to turn off Find my iPhone. Go to Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone.
  • Find the PP jailbreak tool you downloaded, double-click on the file. It will detect your iPhone, and it should show the right firmware version 8.1.2.
  • When the PP window opens, untick the checkbox. You will see a button located in the center. Click on it. Two new buttons will show up, and in order to start the jailbreak, click on the one located on the right side.
  • When jailbreaking is done, your iPhone 6 Plus will reboot. You will find a Cydia icon on the Home screen.
  • As the last step, enable Find my iPhone and Passcode.
