iPhone 8 stuck on Apple logo – How to fix it

If your phone is running iOS 13 and you tried to restore your iPhone 8 from a backup, you may experience one of the most annoying issues – you can’t get past the Apple logo. iPhone 8 stuck on Apple logo – what to do?

When the iPhone 8 is stuck on the Apple logo for some period of time, you may try a force restart first. Here is what you need to do:

  • Press and release the Volume Up button
  • Then press and release the Volume Down button
  • As a final step, press and hold the Side button until your iPhone 8 restarts.

In most cases, a force restart will do the trick and your phone will no longer be stuck on the Apple logo.

If nothing changed after your attempt to force restart your phone, it is time to put your device into recovery mode. Follow the steps below:

  • Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable
  • Press and release the Volume Up button
  • Then press and release the Volume Down button
  • Press and hold the Side button
  • Keep holding the button until the recovery screen in on
  • You will be asked if you want to update or restore your iPhone 8
  • Choose the option to Update and the phone will get the latest iOS version
  • If you choose to restore, the phone will be erased.
